Overview
Gideon is an old-style serif typeface font family that includes Roman, italics, and bold styles. It draws inspiration from the work of classic typesetters.

Origins
The first iteration of Gideon began in a sophomore lettering class, an introduction to the old style of hand lettering.
Plaka
These initial drawings were refined using the older methods of Plaka paints and the use of a photocopier.
